WHAT
The Aspen Institute’s Weave: The Social Fabric Project is dedicated to rebuilding trust and connection in America. In 2025, we partnered with the Weave team to transform their existing content into a scalable learning platform that could reach thousands of community leaders, volunteers, and bridge-builders nationwide.
HOW
We partnered with the Aspen Institute to translate Weave’s mission of rebuilding trust into a scalable learning ecosystem. We led the strategy, learning experience design, systems design, and team and volunteer trainings.
Strategy. Defined the audience, strategic positioning, and measurable outcomes.
Pedagogy. Designed a four-stage learning framework (learn, experience, practice, reflect) to move learners from theory to practice.
Design Systems. Created templates, reflection guides, and design principles that allow staff and volunteers to co-create new courses with consistency and care.
Training. Led virtual sessions to onboard Aspen staff and volunteers in learning experience design, giving them the tools and confidence to sustain quality as the Learning Center grows.
IMPACT
The result is a living learning ecosystem that scales connection without losing its soul. The Weave Learning Center now serves as a central hub for community leaders and volunteers nationwide—offering accessible, human-centered courses that help people build trust where they live.
Aspen teams are equipped with a shared framework, design system, and set of tools to create and launch new courses independently. The platform has become both a model and a movement—turning Weave’s vision for social healing into an actionable, scalable system for community change.
